Rip it up and start again!

Last night I gave my dead and withered plants a decent burial in the compost bin, and have started resowing.

This time I’m attempting:

Watercress
Spinach
Chives
Parsley
Chili
Coriander

Note to self: Do not rely in sister to water…

What’s this about?

Over the last few years I've become increasingly disenchanted with the 'commercial-supermarket-shopping-endless-advertising-expensive-anxiety-ridden-don’t-make-eye-contact-with-your-neighbour’ society that we seem to live in, so this is just a little blog I've started about my attempts to live the 'good life'...by trying to do things such as:

Growing my own food
Getting involved in my local community
Boycotting supermarkets
Reading more
Watching less TV
Getting out of debt
Walking or cycling often
Baking my own bread

It's not about self-sacrifice, it's about making my life easier, cheaper, healthier, happier, more entertaining, and well...just better!
